Combining the Seasons

I seemed to have missed a Summer as well as a Fall entry as we have already begun settling into Winter here in NYC. It has been for good reason though. I have been busy in all the best ways possible-work, play, family, friends, and travel!

Here are some highlights:

1. I was asked to do a canning demo at Crate and Barrel and you can see the pictures from that event here.

2. I voiced a character named Mitzue in an animated feature called The Gadget Gang that will be released sometime next year.

3. I recorded the voiceover for this commercial spot:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2jitP_PMOc

4. I went to Turkey and Greece with my dear childhood friend Cassie. We climbed Mount Olympus and I wrote about it for the Whirling Blog. You can read it here.

5. I traveled to Montana, N and S Dakotas, and Wyoming with my family.

6. I was given the opportunity to be part of a spread for NY Magazine Winter Weddings issue with Events by Melissa McNeeley. You can see the whole article here.

7. I cooked lunch for the singer Alicia Keys! She was shooting a commercial for Citibank and I was her personal chef for the day. It was a really great opportunity!

8. My event planner and dear friend, Melissa McNeeley got married in Brooklyn-truly one of the coolest weddings I've ever attended. Here are pictures from that fantastic day. All of the details were done by Melissa. Hire her!

9. I finally shot the pilot for Food Network!!!!! Here are some pictures from that incredible day. I hope to share the good news that we were given the green light in my next post!

Okay, those are the big things. Please check back to see what all the Winter will hold. Hopefully it is full of abundance, success, health, happiness, warmth, and goodness for us all!

It is Spring in NYC!

CookingMinute.com featured me preparing a recipe! It is really a fantastic segment. I was so excited to have been chosen. Hopefully more will come from this. It was a great opportunity to shine some light on what I do.

This week I hosted 22 friends for Easter and made 6pounds of homemade pasta dough! I handrolled it, stamped out 120 raviolis and hand cut tagliatelle noodles. My arms are sore! Talk about a labor of love! It all turned out beautifully and was delcious too!

I had a Birthday!

I booked and recorded a job for Baymont Inns, a new cartoon for PBS, and am staying busy with Angel Friends and Shaktimaan, my other cartoons, and I booked a trip to Greece!

One thing I did since my last post is Magical Manifesters. It is an online program to put some juice into your goals, dreams, and achievements. It was such an amazing experience for me and I accomplished so many things. Another session is starting up and I would love for all of you to make some magic of your own. Please check it out, you won't be sorry!

Toons

This is the logo for my cartoon Virus Attack. I am Alice/Argus, the blue one second from the left.

This is a random Italian to English translation about my character from Angel Friends that airs on Saturday mornings. "A nice and fashion girl. Blue deeply eyes." What? I love recording her though. I hope you've checked it out. The post below has times and channels.

SWEET

Sweet is a nice and fashion girl. She has blue deeply eyes and red long hair and she loves pink color, so she is a real pink girl. She is as sweet as her name and she is fond of dessert, pudding and cake! She has a real passion of eye-glasses, as a matter of fact she has a whole collection of them. She always wants to be in fashion. She loves playing and she always has her head in the clouds… Her winged little-animal is Butterfly, beautiful, smart and pink of course.
